Charleston International Airport
The airport is located approximately 11 miles from downtown Charleston and is easily accessible by car, taxi, and shuttle.
Taxis and Shuttles
Taxis and shuttles operate from 5 a.m. ET until 30 minutes after the last arriving flight, typically around 12:30 a.m. ET. You can find taxis and shuttles in front of the terminal building, outside of baggage claim. All taxi and shuttle services accept MasterCard, American Express, VISA and Discover credit cards.
Rental Cars
Rental cars from Avis, Hertz, National, Enterprise, and Budget are available at the Rental Car Pavilion in the airport terminal.
Ride-share
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Charleston, especially in the downtown area. However, demand can sometimes exceed supply, leading to longer wait times, especially outside of downtown and at night. Please plan accordingly.
